What exactly is Atmovi?

An app for your Mac with its own AI inside. You can chat with it, ask about your own files, have it research the web with sources, and get real files back, like Excel reports and PowerPoint decks. The AI runs on your Mac, and your data stays yours.

Which Macs does it work on?

Macs with Apple Silicon: M1 or newer, with at least 8 GB of memory (RAM) and about 15 GB of free storage for the app and the AI model. We’ll publish the exact macOS version with the first beta build, tested on real machines.

Does it need the internet?

Only to download the AI model once, to check for updates, and for web searches when a question needs up-to-date facts. Everyday chat and questions about your files work offline.

Does it do things on its own?

Yes, that’s the point. Everyday steps like searching the web, reading files and building reports simply happen. Anything that could cause harm, like deleting files, it won’t do without asking you, and dangerous actions are blocked. ⌘⇧K stops everything instantly.

How is it different from ChatGPT?

ChatGPT runs in the cloud on very large models and is usually paid monthly. Atmovi runs on your Mac: your everyday questions stay with you, there’s no message meter, and Premium is a single payment. Cloud models are stronger at some hard problems. Atmovi is built for the everyday reading, writing and research most people actually do.

How is it different from Ollama or LM Studio?

Those tools give you an AI model to chat with. Atmovi gives you an assistant: it reads your files, researches with sources, builds reports and slides, and gets on with the work by itself. No setup or technical knowledge needed.

Will it always give the right answer?

No AI does. Atmovi shows where its answers come from, so you can check them. Treat important answers, like medical, legal or financial ones, as a helpful starting point.

How do Premium updates work?

Your $99 includes every Premium feature and 3 years of upcoming features, bug fixes and security updates. After 3 years you can renew for $49 to get the next 3 years of updates, and it stays $49 for every 3 years after that. Renewing is optional: if you don’t, Atmovi Premium keeps working with every feature you already have, for as long as you like.

What happens after the beta?

The free plan stays free, forever. Premium becomes a one-time purchase. We’ll tell beta testers first and look after them when it launches.
